Make the fixes. 

Be sure to bump the version number accordingly, that is, do NOT make it the same as the version number in devel.
Bump only the last segment (z of the x.y.z version number).  For example, if the version number is 1.0.0, bump it to 1.0.1.

Then commit the changes.

The changes in release should be minimal; change only what is necessary to fix bugs/errors, or to enhance documentation.
Other changes/new/features/experiments in devel should not be backported to release.

I noticed that in release 3.2 of my package some functions were never exported.
I have fixed this on the devel branch, but what is the best way for me to fix
this on the release 3.3?
