[Bioc-devel] Turning an existing "software" package into a "data" package
Hi Lori, Thank you for your help with turning my BioPlex package into a data package. It looks like the transition has worked out overall, however it seems that there is a timeout on the arm64 mac builder (kjohnson) only (already since a couple of days): http://bioconductor.org/checkResults/devel/bioc-LATEST/BioPlex/ I wonder whether there is anything to do here from my side or whether this is some sort of hiccup coming from the transition? In addition, I would like to add ExperimentHub resources to the package. Is there a process for changing the classification of the package from "software" to "experiment data"? I understood that I would need to update the biocViews of my package accordingly to include data package-specific views and ExperimentHub-specific views, is that something that I should do BEFORE or AFTER, the Bioc team internally changes which manifest the package is listed under?
