Hi Lori - Yongchao Ge (cc?ed) is a co-author of the multtest package, and maintainer of other BioC packages. He is helping with the fix. Would it be possible to add him as a co-maintainer so that he can submit changes going forward?
Thanks,
Katie

We don't like to see packages broken for an extended period of time. The hard deadline would be the next release; We don't have an exact date yet as it is dependent on the R 4.0 release. Once they announce their date our Bioconductor release date is generally a week or so later.

Dear Package Maintainer,
We would like to bring to your attention that your package is failing to build/check on our devel build machines:
http://bioconductor.org/checkResults/devel/bioc-LATEST/multtest <http://bioconductor.org/checkResults/devel/bioc-LATEST/multtest>
Would you mind taking a look at this? Don't hesitate to ask on the bioc-devel mailing list if you have any question or need help.
While the development branch is a place to develop new features and we expect packages to occasionally break, they should not remain broken for an extended period of time. If no action is taken over the next few weeks we will begin the deprecation process for your package. Thank you for your time and effort.
