[Bioc-devel] package contribution DEADLINE for BioC 2.1: Aug 27

Hello all,

The R core team has informed us of their tentative release plans and
it looks like the next R release, and therefore the next BioC release,
will be in the first week of October.

As such, the deadline for contributing new packages for the upcoming
BioC 2.1 release is next MONDAY 27 August.  If you submit a packge on
or before the 27th, we will do our best to expedite reviews and get it
in the release (you can improve your chances by carefully following
the package guidelines).

Packages received after the 27th will not be reviewed until after the
early October release and will be scheduled for inclusion in the next
release (BioC 2.2, ~April 2008).  Such packages will be available in
the BioC devel repository.
