[Bioc-devel] Fwd: geneplast.data version number issue
Annotation packages are treated slightly different. We assume that annotation package version bumps indicate a change so they are the only set of packages that are not automatically bumped. However you are correct we probably should have in place to bump the newly submitted packages at release time and will discuss this as a new protocol. I can assist you off the mail list to push changes to the package.
