I actually do not have any problem with Rdbi 1.7.0 or 1.7.1 (loading of RdbiPgSQL removed) using a fresh installation of R 2.4.0 beta (2006-09-20). I have also tried with an older version of R. Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
Jianhua, I moved to R-beta (which I should have done before mailing in the first place) also and the problem disappeared, even with the autoload line still in. Figure that.... Thanks again, Sean
