[Bioc-devel] Recent change in R-devel... time to update

Hello all,

Among other changes that have recently been made to R devel (2.5.0) is
that the signature of the function as.matrix has changed; it now has a
'...' in its argument list.

This affects code in a few Bioconductor packages that set an S4 method
on as.matrix:

  Biostrings
  BufferedMatrix
  externalVector
  ontoTools
  EBImage

Next Monday, we will update the R-devel version used for the BioC
build system.  We recommend that all package developers upgrade as
well.  Fixes for the above packages will be available soon (if not,
please send a note to the appropriate maintainer).
