[Bioc-devel] MetaGxPancreas: data updates and transferring maintainers

Hello BioC core team,

I am emailing to request help updating the MetaGxPancreas data package on Bioconductor. The difficultly is that the maintainer is listed as Michael Zon, an alumni of the BHK Lab, instead of as Benjamin Haibe-Kains our lab PI. We have reached out to Michael RE: transferring maintainership to us, but have some urgent updates we need to push for an upcoming publication using the MetaGxPancreas data and worry he may not reply immediately.

My understanding is that the MetaGxPancreas data is downloaded from ExperimentHub, and that I need to contact hubs at bioconductor.org<mailto:hubs at bioconductor.org> for an S3 address to upload the corrected data to. Am I able to get access to the S3 bucket with Benjamin's Bioconductor credentials? He is an author on the package just not the maintainer.

I should also note the I do have push access to the MetaGxPancreas Bioconductor repo. Would it be acceptable for me change the maintainer there to get access?
