[Bioc-devel] Updating the maintainer (or adding a new one) for the Mergeomics package
Yes I can assist with the switch. I will contact off list for information to create a BiocCredentials account. This account mapping handles access to packages and allows the maintainer to add ssh keys for access. Once the replacement maintainer has access, it will be up to them to change the DESCRIPTION in the package at git.bioconductor.org. This is very important as the maintainer in the DESCRIPTION is what we use for future contact of important announcements and reporting issues from Bioconductor core team. They should also sign up on this bioc-devel mailing list and support site.
