Dear Nitesh,
I set myself as the new maintainer and would like to un-deprecate the fastseg package.

Hi G?nter,
Thanks for this smooth transition.
In terms of changes to the DESCRIPTION file, I can just put myself as the new maintainer.
However, I was wondering if you are planning to keep the linked website alive for the near future?
If yes, I would also update the respective link to http://www.bioinf.jku.at/software/fastseg/index.html .

You can also do
ssh -T git at git.bioconductor.org | grep ?fastseg?
You should see R W (read and write)

Dear Nitesh,
How exactly should I check my access to the fastseg package?
FYI, I am able to fetch the repo using `git clone git at git.bioconductor.org:packages/fastseg`.

Hi G?nter,
I?ve added Alexander (BiocCredentials id: a.gosdschan) to the package.
Please ask him to check if he can access the package.
You would also need to change the maintainer on the DESCRIPTION file of the package.

Dear Bioconductor team, dear Nithesh,
I would like to hand over maintenance of the package "fastseg" to Alexander Blume (CC). Is this possible? What do we need? (i've done this before with cn.mops which was handed over to one of my colleagues).
Best,
G?nter
