Dear Bioconductor Team,
I am writing regarding the uncoverappLib package.
Due to an issue with my GitHub account (loss of access keys), I had to recreate the repository where the development version of uncoverappLib was hosted. As a consequence, the current GitHub repository history does not fully reflect the original development timeline.
In the meantime, I have made important updates to the package, including (v.2.1) (https://github.com/emanuela04/uncoverappLib/tree/v2.1.0):
* bug fixes in hg38
* improvements to existing functionality and the speed of library
* general maintenance updates
I would like to kindly ask for guidance on how to proceed with integrating these updates into the next Bioconductor release, and whether there are any recommended steps for handling the repository transition and package assembly under these circumstances.
