Hey there, I have a package currently under review with bioconductor. I have passed all parts of the automated check, except that on the mac OS it throws an error saying I am not subscribed to the bioc-devel mailing list. I thought maybe it had something to do with database updates, but it has been a few days since I first subscribed to the mailing list. Does anyone know what this might be? Thanks, Hillary

Hi, Hillary. Be sure that the email that you have listed in the maintainer field of the package matches (exactly) the one that you used to subscribe to the mailing list. That has gotten me in the past. Sean On Sun, Feb 4, 2018 at 9:49 AM, Hillary Koch <hillary.koch01 at gmail.com> wrote:

another problem is that the mailing list sends an email asking to confirm your subscription, but this often ends in people's spam so the registration is incomplete. Martin
