Hello all, I am having issues with correcting bugs in the 3.9 version of package FCBF ( https://bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/FCBF.html) as well as pushing modifications into the current "devel". In the master branch, I have in DESCRIPTION: Version: 1.3.2 In the RELEASE_3_9 branch, I have in DESCRIPTION: Version: 1.2.5 The remote branches, both origin and upstream, state after git push: Everything up-to-date. Nevertheless, in the FCBF page, the available version is 1.2.2: Version 1.2.2 In Bioconductor since BioC 3.8 (R-3.5) (1 year) And when installing FCBF from the 3.10 version, I get: Bioconductor version 3.10 (BiocManager 1.30.4), R 3.6.0 (2019-04-26) Installing package(s) 'FCBF' trying URL ' https://bioconductor.org/packages/3.10/bioc/src/contrib/FCBF*_1.3.1.*tar.gz' (1.3.1 instead of 1.3.2) So the versions available are not updated. I'm likely making some silly mistake, but I haven't been able to figure out exactly what. Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening? [Bioc-devel] Push not triggering new builds neither updating package
2 messages · Tiago Lubiana Alves, Shepherd, Lori
After pushing an update to Bioconductor it can take up to 48 hours for the results to propagate to the build system and appear on the package landing pages. The building and checking of packages occurs nightly - You pushed Yesterday evening and most likely did not make the cutoff (4:45 PM EST) for todays build report. Your updates should be picked up on tonight's build and be reflected in tomorrow's report. If the build and check were successful the new package version will also be available via install after the builds complete and propagate.
