[Bioc-devel] Affymetrix Exon arrays

Dear all,
 
We have recently submitted a new package to the development branch of
bioconductor - exonmap - that is designed to provide annotation support
for analysing Affymetrix exon arrays. The package requires a fairly
powerful machine, and access to a local MySQL install, but we hope that
it will be useful to people wanting to analyse Exon arrays. Exonmap
makes use of the underlying data in the X:MAP database - which can be
found here: http://xmap.picr.man.ac.uk.
