This is to announce that we plan to release R version 2.10.0 on Monday, October 26, 2009. Release procedures start today. The detailed schedule can be found on http://developer.r-project.org The source tarballs will be made available daily (barring build troubles), starting September 28, and the tarballs can be picked up at http://cran.r-project.org/src/base-prerelease/ a little later.
