R-patched make warnings on Mandrake 9.0

This always happens with gcc 3.2, and is harmless.

You can avoid most of them (but not in the GNOME module) by setting
CPPFLAGS= (nothing).

I thought I had put something about this in R-admin.texi, but apparently
did not get it there for 1.6.0.
