Any success with RDCOMServer and R-2.0.0?

RDCOMServer is part of Omegahat not R.  Were its mailing lists operational 
that would be the appropriate place, but they were down last time I 
looked.

A few of us have tried to compile RDCOMServer and been put off/stumped by 
its non-standard features (it refers to the source tree, for example). 
After a number of changes I had it working rather minimally.

I think you need to talk directly to the package maintainer, as the R FAQ 
and the posting guide advise.

I'm experimenting with the RDCOMServer package under R-2.0.0. I'm not having 
much success yet - the methods im registering do show up in the registry but 
I'm not able to call the using RDCOMClient from another package. I'm still 
attempting to diagnose my problem in other ways, but though I should check to 
see if there are any problems have been observed by others using this 
combination?
