tseries bug (PR#592)

Not a problem with the tseries package, I think, but with Red Hat 6.2,
which has some serious problems dynamically loading Fortran.

Peter Dalgaard has reported that upgrading the C/fortran compilers to 
gcc 2.95.1 or later cures the problem.

I'm sorry to say that I still get the segfault with gcc-2.95.1 on 
RedHat 6.2.
