R 1.1.0 going into feature freeze

The development version is going into feature freeze tomorrow, meaning that we'll only do testing and fix simple bugs during the next week. Those of you who prefer to find bugs before releases instead of afterwards may want to try it out and tell us what crawls out.
For anyone wanting to try the release-candidate Windows version, it is up at http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/bdr/RWin/Rpre Warning: this is cross-compiled and so lacks a few things including CHM / Windows help and the bitmap DLL. The release version will be natively compiled. In particular, we would be grateful if anyone can try it on a Pentium I/II/III on Win2000: we know there are problems on Athlon cpus on Win2000.
