Rstudio R-devel libR.so

I believe you need to set the environment variable R_HOME_DIR to the
path pointing to your R-devel installation before launching RStudio.

When I get a symbolic link with:

 sudo ln -s  /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so /usr/local/R-devel//lib/libR.so


The R session had a fatal error.
