R on BeOS

This may indicate a problem of missing/superfluous underscores in exported symbols of shared libraries - see the discussion concerning OpenBSD port conducted recently (late July; see also HAVE_NO_SYMBOL_UNDERSCORE). Each platform has different requirements in that respect and "methods" is the first package that loads a dynamic library and uses its functions. Cheers, Simon
