Especially when the `See Also' mentions an alternative! The comment only applies to R on Unix/Linux, not to the original png device on Windows. I think the important thing about this is that Dirk is now taking action to ensure that bugs are not lingering in the Debian system without anyone taking notice of it. This will obviously require that he doesn't think too deeply about whether something is a bug or not before forwarding it... (BTW: The thing that the user wants might be done using an Xvfb (virtual framebuffer) server?)
