Please give the R version number or (preferably) use bug.report() to generate the report.
On-line help for tapply: The following appears "for to each (non-empty) group of values" It seems there's an extra preposition in this sentence. On-line help for cut: "break" should be "breaks"
[Fixed, thank you]
morley.data not available with the distribution. Would be helpful for doing the examples in the Intro.
That has already been altered for R 1.1. The file is in the Rnotes package on CRAN at present, and will be in 1.1.0 on.
The rwinst.exe did not work at all on Win95. It could find no files. Wasn't clear from the instructions which directory I should be in while running rwinst. I tried several; none worked. So I manually unzipped the files and they worked fine.
You can use it from anywhere, hence it does not specify where. This puzzles me: you have to set the source directory to where the files are: use the Browse button to do so. The installer is known to work on Windows 95, and there have been many, many, successful uses. Could you please try again using Browse to get the right directory with the zip files?
