Argh! Would you please everyone try to be careful with the
R-devel/R-bugs issues! If you remove the PR# without removing R-bugs
from the Cc: list, you'll generate a new bug report. And so will
anyone who follows up on the version that gets sent directly to
r-devel without PR#.
We now have this issue as PR#1065, 1068 and 1069....
