help browsers in win2k

With all the browser hassles in win2k now
it would be useful if
options(browser=___)
also works in windows if it is set.
if it is not set, the default brwoser should be used.

according to the documentation 
options(browser=____)
only has an effect in unix.

does it seem reasonable to put this on the wish list?
