Stefano, the link to Waste does not work. The correct link is http://www.merzwaren.com/bin/waste/waste-20b3.sit (/bin/ is missing on you page). I have three bugs from the previos version where it ran into a crash. Standard logs are in <ftp://max.statlab.uni-heidelberg.de/users/gs/>, filenames startign with R.
