S-Plus graphs to LaTeX picture commands

Well, R   ( http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/R/CRAN/ )
has a pictex(..) driver.

R  further allows some `mathematical text'
(greek, sub- and super-scripts, fractions, sum and integrals, square roots)
in the plots for x11 and postscript.
