R 2.9.0 devel: package installation with configure-args option
I think this should now work (one of several 'FIXME' issues addressed in the latest commit -- there are still some to go, but 2.9.0 is not due for 6 weeks). It is always useful to have a real test example, though. (I used rgl in relation to some discussion about paths on r-sig-mac.)
