R and OpenSSI

Is anyone using R with OpenSSI? We're upgrading our cluster hardware 
which currently runs OpenMosix and happily shunts processes around to 
balance the load transparently. However OpenMosix is now not being 
developed and so I've been looking for alternatives. OpenSSI looks like 
the front-runner, even though the documentation lacks a bit.

There's one thread from 2004 in the mailing list archives that matches 
OpenSSI in the R site search! Since R is the main thing we run on our 
cluster, I thought I'd ask and see if people have had any successes or 
failures with R on OpenSSI (or suggest an alternative SSI clustering 
solution).
