inconsistent behaviour between class() and inherits() (PR#834)

Example:

x<-ts(rnorm(10))
y<-ts(rnorm(10))
r<-residuals(lm(y~x))
is.ts(r)

[1] FALSE

inherits(r,"ts")

[1] FALSE

class(r)

[1] "ts"

is.ts(x)

[1] TRUE

inherits(x,"ts")

[1] TRUE

class(x)

[1] "ts"
