While it is time to do changes ... The save image as postscript menu item opens the file save dialog always to save in "my documents", I would rather have my images in HOME, which is where the projecy lives K

K., I think you are perfectly right. Any opinion by others before I change the source? And, what about loading and saving the workspaces? I haven't checked but since code is essentialy the same I suppose behaviour is the same and, hence, it must be changed too. g.
