Hi All, I've been providing a generic version of lowess() in my 'gregmisc' library, along with a 'lowess.formula' and 'lowess.default'. Can/should these be moved into base? -Greg LEGAL NOTICE Unless expressly stated otherwise, this message is confidential and may be privileged. It is intended for the addressee(s) only. Not during feature freeze for 1.4.0. Folks, we have something like a 6-month release cycle (details on developer.r-project.org) and it's amazing how often we get feature requests just prior to a release. I presume there are other methods needed: I thought lowess had to a large extent been superseded by loess.
