A few days ago I posted a message to r-devel about patches for allowing R to be used as a scripting language. Well, the patches as distributed had a bug: R would dump core when certain errors occurred. (Thanks to Gregory Warnes for finding the bug, and sending me a one-liner that excercised it.)
