the error can be duplicated as follows
rt <- data.frame(8:15, 7:14, 6:13, 5:12, 4:11, 3:10, 2:9, 1:8)
library(fdim)
FD <- (fdim(rt,q=2))
Error in slopeopt(AllPoints, Alpha) : Object "LineP" not found

the maintainer (Francisco Javier Martinez de Pison.
francisco.martinez@dim.unirioja.es) has a bad email
address and therefore can't be reached.

address and therefore can't be reached.
Well, he can't be reached through R-bugs either, and more importantly, he 
cannot deal with the entry in the R-bugs repository (only R-core members 
can alter it).  So it really was pointless sending a report on fdim to 
R-bugs.

You didn't mention that you had failed to contact the maintainer in your 
report.
