identify(...plot=F) (PR#1157)

Thanks very much for your email and for fixing the mild bug
in identify().

Can you tell me, is it fixed in R 1.4.1 (which I have not yet installed;
we're still running R 1.4.0) or do I need to get ``R.patched''
(or whatever it's called)?
