R CMD check strange behavior

Can anyone reproduce this strange behavior?

     R CMD check <any package> quadprog

Everything is fine.

     R CMD check quadprog <any package>

The check for quadprog works fine, but the checks for anything that follows
skip the examples portion, i.e. just run the check on the DESCRIPTION file
and format the manual.

I could not reproduce this behavior with any other combination of packages,
although I do not have lots of them installed. I am afraid I do not know
Perl well enough to even try to fix that.

Cheers,

Andy Jaworski
