I think Sigbrt Klinke has added support for it to Xplore. Looking into NetCDF/CDF/HDF is on my list to do fairly soon for xlispstat but I haven't gotten to it yet. My impression is that these are used a fair bit in the "scientific visualization" community, but I need to explore this further. luke
