Thanks for R-2.8.0 still on W2000

Hello,
This little post is just to thank Prof. Ripley and the R team
for still maintaining R runable on Windows 2000.
I installed R-2.8.0 on Windows 2000 and used it for several
computation hours and everything seems to work fine.
