ODBC Connectivity

I've tried RODBC on both SQL Server and Access databases only to read in
some data. I think especially if the size of your data sets is relatively
small then RODBC will do the job. The only complaint I would have is the
speed at which it runs but again this is a generic tool, it is flexible
enough and relatively efficient for all the work it does. If you have
particular needs and speed is critical then you would probably want
something faster.
