Hi! I have two one dimensional integrals. One starts from a (+,-)real number and goes to positive infinity, the other starts from negative infinity to a (+,-) real number. My questions are: 1) Can I use the add on package "inegrate" which seems to be designed for integrals limited by real numbers?
Not really. If you know that the contribution to the integral is negligible outside a certain region then you can trim that region off (eg some probability densities), but the code is designed for finite boxes -thomas Thomas Lumley Assistant Professor, Biostatistics University of Washington, Seattle -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
