Command Prompt Question

Could someone please tell me how to stop the package/function name from being included before the command prompt? For example: if I enter example(AIC), instead of just getting the regular '>' before each output line, I get 'AIC>' instead. prompt.prefix You'd think that ?example would find it soon enough...
