problem compiling R-1.6.1 on WinNT: pcre

Sorry, I cannot find "pcre-3.9-src.zip" on sourceforge, just the correct files... The name of the file is different from that one that is requested in "Install".
from sourceforge instead. Apparently that's at least packaged a bit differently from pcre-3.9.tar.gz at the site mentioned in the INSTALL
file.
Maybe the wording about the pcre source in the INSTALL file could be a bit more stringent?
