testing the fit of a regression and comparing regressn models

Hi,
It sounds to me like you need to learn to use R's help functions. Try

help.search("logistic regression")
help.search("spearman")
etc.

If you don't find what you need with help.search() you can broaden
your search filed by switching to RSiteSearch().
