echo = FALSE does not work

I can't find anything like that in `the help files', so please give us a clue as to which of the 800 or so you found it in. help(options) does say that writing *options(echo=FALSE)* at the beginning of *myscript.R* would do this, and it does. It also says you can use --slave.
