Discriminant analysis with R

Many thanks to all,

I did not find the lda function because I did not installed the VR package
properly (and did not noticed it since I run R INSTALL with many other
packages)...

Anyway the following thing might be usefull :
Hint to any other dummy R installer (I cannot believe I am the only one around
=)  ) : the package name is VR/MASS (or VR/nnets, or whatever...) and not VR
alone...

(was it told in the INSTALL help ? I have the bad habit to read them too
quickly....)
