Tcl/Tk window lingering too long

Right: it disappears immediately on Windows. As far as I can tell on my fast Linux box (even across the net to my cable modem), there it has the effect you mention. BTW, to all those who have been saying that 1.4.1 is not easily available on MacOS X/darwin, note the details below.
