Installing GRASS_0.1-4.tar.gz on RedHat7.1 Linux
Dear list, I have a problem to install the GRASS_0.1-4.tar.gz on RedHat7.1 Linux. The gmake5 is missing. But I am not quite sure what it is? Is it a gnu version of MAKE? I could not locate it on my system and I do not know what is really meant. Any experience? I get the following message: ---------------------------------------------------- bash-2.04$ R CMD INSTALL -l /home/uleopold/lib/R/library/ GRASS_0.1-4.tar.gz Installing *source* package `GRASS' ... Your gmake5 is not on your current PATH. Either add the directory it is in to your PATH, or run "R INSTALL --configure-args=--gmake5=/.../gmake5 GRASS" giving the fully qualified path to and name of your gmake5. To install the interpreted interface, use: "R INSTALL --configure-args=--interp GRASS" ERROR: configuration failed for package `GRASS' ---------------------------------------------------- Thanks.
