knitr

Hello,

after trying to convert to pdf using knitr, I get the following error
messages from the error log:

C:/Users/duve/Documents/plots2.tex:5: LaTeX Error: Missing \begin{document}.

See the LaTeX manual or LaTeX Companion for explanation.
Type  H <return>  for immediate help
You're in trouble here.  Try typing  <return>  to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type  X <return>  to quit.


Has anyone a clue what the problem might be?
