sorry for the inconvenience, something has gone wrong during the upload of this rpm from home to office. A new one is now in place (on ftp://ftp-stat.sci.uni-klu.ac.at/pub/R/bin/linux/suse/RPMS/6.3/i386/base) and will soon reach CRAN via mirrors. After upgrading to 6.4 I have only one 6.3 machine left which I use seldomly, so I did not recognize the bug, sorry.
