installation error
Don't use gcc compiled for Solaris 2.5.1 on Solaris 2.6. We've seen this before a couple of times, and that was the error. Also, gcc-2.7.2.3 is ancient. I suggest getting 2.95.3 (or 3.0 if you use .0 releases: it works for me) for 2,6, or compiling it from source.
